Miley and Noah Cyrus are pretty much just like all sisters – they even steal each other’s clothes!
The 24-year-old “Malibu” singer talked about it during an appearance on The Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show at Z100 Studio on Tuesday (May 16) in New York City. Check it:
On whether her sister Noah asks her for advice: “No, she’s 17 so she’s like… if I were like, ‘Wear this,’ she’d be like, ‘Ew, that is disgusting!’ But then again she goes and does what I do. I’ve seen her room! I got a rainbow light, she got a rainbow light; I got a pink cactus, she got a pink cactus; and then she hides it from me! I started taking polaroids, she got a polaroid camera! It’s everything I do, and she doesn’t know I go and snoop through her room, but I do! I steal stuff, which is so weird because the roles have reversed in so many ways!”
On being nervous to perform: “I’m a little bit of nervous person even though I try to keep it cool, but I’m actually always kind of freaking out at all times. I have to always remember that my feet are on the ground and I just have to keep singing cause when I stop that’s when I panic. This is a new thing, I think it’s because the past year I sat in my ‘Voice’ chair and watched other people on stage. I hadn’t really been performing for the past year. My last tour, it wasn’t that kind of show, it was more about having fun and interacting with the crowd, it wasn’t dead silent and just staring right at me. Growing up in this industry people always assume that I really like attention, but when you’re younger you’re much more fearless. As time goes on, I get more and more weird when things are all about me.”
On her plans for the future: “Every time I work like this, I always say that next year I’m going to be living in the jungle and just chilling, and that’s never happened so it probably never will because I’m hyped and I love making music too much. But every time I’m like, ‘Ugh, this is such hard work, alright next year I’m going to live in the jungle,’ and then all of a sudden I was sitting in the red ‘Voice’ chair, obviously not in the jungle so I don’t know what’s going to happen!”
